The infamous Deep Throat, Mark Felt, has died. Mark Felt helped bring down then President Richard Nixon. At one time he was a top official with the FBI.
Felt's whistleblowing was the key factor in bringing down Nixon.
In 1991 Felt leaked that he was in fact Deep Throat and had leaked the anonymous information to the Washington Post.
